                        本題(ダジャレ文)
 本題の見方---ダジャレ文の中の青色文字は英語の意味、赤色文字は語呂合わせの部分で、かなりなまったり方言ぽくなる場合があります。また、ダジャレ文は語呂合わせの為の文言で、意味の正当性、日本文としての正確性は有りません事ご周知下さい。
 英単語に添えられた丸数字は難易度レベルで、詳しくは2012.8/27号をご参照ください。(⑦~⑫は書物には頻出。⑳以上も新聞等には時折出現する。)

                           随想
 某英会話教室で、あるゲームをやりました。それはjeopardy(今回の本題No.10に収載)という名の、アメリカで人気のTV番組のクイズゲームでした。日本ではクイズグランプリとして模倣され人気を博したそうですが、なぜそれがjeopardy(危険) というゲーム名なのかは分からずじまいでした。この手の、現地のメディアでしか使われない一種の固有名詞は、辞書や参考書では知りえない現地ならではの文化で、そこまで日本国内で身に着けることは困難ですね。
会話や文の中でこういう現地でしか使われない語彙が出てきたら、知らない限り不明語になるわけで、「あーやはり外国語習得は現地で過ごしていないとだめだなー」の感を一層深めた次第です。
 そういう訳ですので、再び申し上げます、英語をものにするのは海外にいる今のうち、どうぞ今の環境をフルに生かされますように、と。
