本題（ダジャレ集）
本題の見方－－－ダジャレ文の中の青色文字は英語の意味、赤色文字は語呂合わせの部分で、かなりなまったり方言ぽくなる場合があります。ただし、フレーズはごろ合わせは無く、ただの解説文だけの場合があります。
ダジャレ文は語呂合わせの為の文言で、意味の正当性、日本文としての正確性は有りません事ご周知下さい。
英単語に添えられた丸数字は難易度レベルを表しています。詳しくは８/２７号をご参照ください。（⑦～⑫は書物には頻出。⑳以上も新聞等には時折出現する。）
緑色背景文字は、初公開時以降に追加・修正した部分です。
―類義語１（hasty属４語）―---いきなり下品な語呂合わせ文にて失礼します。
１）そんなにせっかちに屁（へー）してどうする。④hasty(a)‐‐‐収載不要なぐらい難易度低いですが、類義語の代表語、しかも語呂ぴったりにつき掲載しました。
２）せっかちにやらなければ、ゆっくりしてほっと屁（へ）出っど。▲hot-headed(a)---この手の合成語の場合、形容詞形はハイフンつくのが普通のようです。
３）今日結婚したからと言ってそんなにせっかちにしなくても、いんべ（ぺ）チューは明日でも。⑫impetuous(a)---ダジャレ文は大正時代の見合い結婚での話。
４）そんなにせっかちにいんべ（ぺ）しえ（せ）んとも。⑤impatient(a)
―類義語２（essential属５語他にimperative,vital有り《imperativeダジャレ思いつき下記に追加、ただし袋綴じにつき使用時注意》）---難易度低く見えるものも当該意味では馴染み薄いのでは。
imperativeのダジャレとして、ほかの某ダジャレサイトに「インパラ（ティブ）の命令は避けられない。」（インパラは水牛のような動物）というのが有りました。（このブログではうまい語呂合わせ作れず断念していました）皆さん苦労してるようですね。４/２１記

ここまで下品なものは下品を自認している私も掲載ためらいましたが、来訪者急増に焦りを感じ（作れない語呂合わせ文を無くし、全てをダジャレられなければプロではないという自負心！？）あえて公開させて頂きました。４/２９記

別案；広辞苑と普通の辞書、どちらが説得力あるの？

随想
前回本題１）の答です。「～みたいな」のぴったりした英語表現とは、「I was like ～」でした。likeは 「～のような」だから違和感ないように感じますが、お馴染みのIt's like～ （それは～のようだ）、やA like ～（～のようなA)、等の使い方とは異なり、「私には～みたいに感じられる。」というように使われるのには驚きました。まるで日本語を直訳して英文に（またはその逆）したように思える程そっくりな言い回しに感じられました。
実は、これはアルク社の「単語テスト一日一問」なるサイトで見つけたフレーズ（３/１４）で、最近若者の間で好んで使われる言い方なのだそうです。年配者は眉をひそめるという点も、日英同じで、まさにぴったりの表現と言えますね。（ただし真偽のほどは今のところ分からず。）
ちなみにこのサイトでの例文は下記のようでした。
I was like "Is she crazy?"；「彼女おかしいんじゃないみたいな。（私にはおかしいように感じられる。）」
さらに、このフレーズが特別と感じたのは、コズミ辞書の旧判（１９９７，１９９９発行）では取り上げられていなかったものが、新版（２００８発行）では、下記の赤文字部分のように、囲み解説で出ていた（say that ---の"和英のツボ"）事にありました。（それだけ最近目立って使われだした表現という事。）
―英語でも、最近の若者は間接話法に依らず直接接話法として発言をそのまま引用するのを好むようになっており、Tim was like ,"I'm supper bussy."「ティムはちょー忙しいんだみたいな。」（但しこれは私の想像訳、Tim was like部分は、I was like---とは微妙に異なるようですが、直接話法の主節になっている点では同じ。）/Tim goes、"I'm super busy."「ティムは『ちょー忙しいんだよ』だって」などと言ったりする。どちらも砕けた言い方なので、英語学習者が安易に真似るのはよくない。―
即ち、あくまでもネーティブ専用語つまり学習者は聞いて分かった方が良いが使わない方が無難である類い（英語フレーズの半分以上は大体この類い）の、最近の若者向きの表現－－－なのだそうなのです。
以上の訳で取り上げましたが、この辺に詳しい方、ご異見ある方おられましたらどうかコメント下さい。英語に悩み苦しむ同じ仲間として；仲間の為に‐‐‐。
（私の英語でのコミュニケーション能力不足の為、英会話スクールの講師の方とはここまで微妙な問題に関し質問できる程親密にはなれませんでした。－‐‐人間同士が親密になるというのは幾つになっても、というより歳と共に、何故か難しくなりますね。いかがですか、ご同輩？）
アルク社の「単語テスト一日一問」の中の例文は以下のようなものでした。（2014、1/29記）
A: Did you see Jane at the concert?
B: You mean that miniskirt she was wearing? I was like, "Is she crazy!?" Doesn't she know how bad she looks in a miniskirt?

アメリカの若者の会話を聞いていると、この I was like が始終、登場する。I was saying to myself ～（～と心の中で思った）ぐらいの意味だ。３人称を主語にして、その人の発言や、行動を伝えることもある。上の世代からすると、この I was like や he / she was like は無教養なしゃべり方に聞こえるのだが、いつの時代も若者の言葉遣いに対する古い世代の反応はこういうものだ。
e.g. I tried to talk to her, but she was like, "Go away."（彼女に話し掛けようとしたんだけど、彼女は「あっち行って」って感じだった）
